Dance Ministry

The Dance of Victory Ministry provides a unique opportunity for those called into the ministry through the genre of liturgical dance and performing arts to minister both physically and spiritually in the spirit of excellence for the call on their lives.

Our goals are to:

• Save souls and change lives through the word of God and movement.
• Develop and enhance individual gifts in each member so that they are empowered to confidently go forth in the ministry of movement.  This is done through:  Personal Spiritual Growth, Promotion of Self Esteem and Confidence, Physical Fitness and Self Discipline, Development of Repetitve Memory, and Cognitive/Logistical Mind Transformation (Reasoning).

The Call of Dance

What has God called us to do?

• Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. (Psalm 149:3)

What has God Called us to do this?

• Praise ye the Lord.  Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. (Psalm 149:1)

Why has God called us to dance before Him?

• To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
• To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
• To execute upon them the judgement written: this honour have all his saints.  Praise ye the Lord.  (Psalm 149:7-9)
